I know a lot of us are in a tight cash situation, myself included. However, some of us with older kids have stuff that we won't need. Once I find out what this peanut's gender is I'll know how much stuff I'll have to pass on. I might have something someone else needs, or someone else might have something another might need. We could post the things we are in need of and then PM each other with details. I don't know if this would be against the rules though or if it would have to go in the TP. I think part of this is me wanting to get things just so for when the baby gets here.

It's a great idea. So far I haven't had any problems with posts in our DDC about needed stuff, so I don't think it will be a problem. We also have our DDCs Yahoogroup if needed.

I would be happy to help someone else if when the baby is born I get enough things to replace some of the GN things I have, etc. Whatever I can do, I am totally prepared to help out. Mamas have been so generous here with me and I would love to complete the karmic circle.

You ladies keep talking about a yahoogroup and I keep asking about it, but nobody posts a link. There are about 3-4 DDCs for our time in the directory... :

I figured for postage, trade, or a small amount would be a great thing. I'm always looking for ways to help out and resources for those of us that are strapped for cash. In fact, the admin lady for maternal child health is always asking me about where to find resources and services for everything from mental health to baby stuff to special needs parenting. : I got the idea from a cross between freecycle and some of the diaper trading/free for postage groups. I'm going to either have a LOT of girl stuff to get out the door or a small bit of nice boy/gender neutral stuff to pass.

I won't have a ton of things because we started over for this babe, but I'd like to be involved.

I'd be in too. I've still got a bunch of boy stuff I don't need and am still open to girl stuff (especially un-pink lol)

Can't believe how close all this is....
