I live in central FL on the west coast and I had a great birth in a FSBC...I saw 2 different m/w's...I LOVED the one m/w and the other one was ok...but eventhough I loved the one m/w I guess here in FL they have to abide by the rules because at one point they thought I was already 41 weeks (I wasn't she just looked at the calendar wrong!) she all of a sudden started getting on to me about going into labor! She was the most layed back person my WHOLE pregnancy but once that magic # came up, she started saying how once I hit 42 weeks I would have to transfer my care to an OB!
I didn't like that one bit! ....but on the other hand I do understand they have to protect themselves.....Anyone know of a m/w in this area that is maybe more of a "rebel"...
Not pregnant yet...but would just like to be informed when the time comes.
