Am I worrying for nothing???

This may be a total last month freak out, but oh well. My baby has been very very active. Everyday for weeks, massive rolling around, constant movement. I have been draggin hard core this last week, keep thinking I am starting to get sick...disfunctionally run down, slight sore throat, some dizzy spells, etc. Today I came home early from work to rest, partly because I felt like death and partly because I hadn't felt baby all day. INcluding after a cup of coffee, a chiro appt, etc. So I ate, laid down, shook her around a bit, slept an hour, and got a little flutter when i woke up. Now a couple hours later I have bugged her into a couple flutters, but no real heavy movement, which is SUCH a contrast. DO they respond to us getting run down and sick like that? I think I am probably slightly dehydrated which probably doesn't help. Should I worry here, or will I go in to get looked at and she will promptly start breakdancing?

If baby is not acting like herself best to go in and get checked! ((((hugs))))

Yup - I agree....go get checked out. Better to find out whether or not something is going on sooner rather than later. If everything is fine, then you know you don't need to worry - if not, then at least something can be done about it. (((HUGS)))

Keep us posted.

I agree with the others. If the baby isn't acting like she usually does, you should get checked out. It's probably nothing, but get checked ASAP just in case.

You will probably go in and they will check and baby will start leaping around... and you will feel relieved and they will tell you that they would rather have you come in and check than sit at home and worry about something that might be something, or might be nothing. Go ahead and get checked. If it's nothing, you have peace of mind. If it's something, then you're in the right place to start problem solving.

Hugs. I went through this last Thursday.

ditto... get checked.. many hugs

It's most likely nothing, but better to get checked every time than to regret not getting checked!

I'm going to have to agree with the others. Better to be safe than sorry. Go get checked...tonight even if it's really bothering you and she's still not moving much after many changes, lots of water, rest, activity, coffee, whatever. I'm sure everything is fine though.

Thanks for all of your replies mamas. I have felt a couple movements, maybe 2 in the last couple hours. That put my mind slightly at ease. Or maybe it was making brownies and mixing in peanut butter chocolate chips with marshmellows bakes on top. I'm taking advice and will call my HCP to find out what next step is.

Happy you are going to call. 2 in two hours is not enough! With the mama we had at 32 weeks go in as baby was not moving as much as normal find out baby was not getting enough oxegen and then having a c-section right away, I really am more open to going to get check if I worry baby is not moving enough.

That was my thinking. Listen to your gut.

Just echoing everyone else, I'd get checked asap.

Please keep us posted!

Baby is just fine! She is however still sideways and seems very comfy there.
