Off to the dentist tomorrow...UPDATE!!!

Please anyone reading this send peaceful, happy, easy treatment options vibes our way for my son. He is meeting this dentist for the first time (highly recommended) and he is very anxious.

I am praying to the higher power that this will not need a crown and can just be easily fixed so our son can get along his merry way!

please, please... ohh pretty please!!!

Erin may you ,Dorian & dh have peaceful dreams & rest soundly tonight.
I hope the new dentist is gentle and that tmt is employed w/ minimal discomfort.

The less anxious YOU are, the less anxious your child will be. He will be ok. Just relax and reassure him and he will be fine.

Yeahhh!!! Oh my gosh the new dentist is WONDERFUL!!!!
My son did really well, alittle melt down at the end when they wanted to take an extra look at his teeth when he thought he was "done" and they just said oh thats fine and did not make him do it.

They did a program which is called ARP stands for Anxiety Reduction Program and it worked so well and he will go 1 more time for that. There was a dog that sat with him on the "bed" for the whole process which my son loved and I think helped at TON, he got to feed hamsters and pick out a bunch of neat toys including a bracelet that says "I am the boss at Dr. Pikes!".

I just cant say enough about this office they are sooooo wonderful!!!!! I am gushing over this!!!

They said they can do a FILLING and not the crown which is wonderful as I think that will go alot better with my son for now, later if he needs one we will cross that bridge.

BTW- Rescue Remedy helped us both!!

What an adorable doggie companion your son had!
Sounds like DR. Pikes is tops!!!!

Edited to add if only more dentist would go out of their way to make people more comfy...
