and I am exhausted!
9/26 I applied for FMLA to begin 10/19 (c/s day). A week later I get a letter from my HR dept saying that my FMLA has been denied because I have not worked the 1,250hrs in the past 12 months to qualify for it. I have only worked 1,151 hrs, making me 99hrs in the hole.
So I have been putting in 10hr days now when all I want to do is lay in bed all day. As of tonight I will have 67hrs behind me. Only 32hrs to go. As long as baby sister can stay put until the 19th we are golden.
My boss will be contacting HR on Thursday night to give them the final tally and to see if NOW I can qualify. I had planned on talking my doc into letting me leave the hospital early if all looks good, now I think I may want to stay the full 5 days just so I can recuperate from being a workaholic these last 2 weeks!
Now if I could only convince DD to sleep in until 10 or 11am....
