Still no idea if baby is a boy or girl? - Page 2

This just came up for me in the name thread. One of the things that had me leaning towards a girl is that the girl's name we chose just sort of hit me. It just seemed so right and so final. When I think about that, I think, how could I possibly be having a boy when this girl has named herself.

Now you watch! I will have a boy

maybe that is my baby! (DH is part Native Alaskan) Actually I've had dreams about chubby dark babies also, but I've never known the gender in the dream. Both our babies so far were far too diluted with my fairness to look like a typical Native baby.

Well, I have NO idea. I thought Isaac was a girl my entire pg with him and even right after he was born. He was laying on my chest and dh lifted his leg and said, "well, SHE has a penis!" His HB was in the 180s the entire pg so I thought girl for sure.

With this baby I feel "boy" so it's probably a girl, although like I said I have no idea. The HR is low this time (140's-150's)...

We had a follow up U/S the other day and dh said he thought he saw boy parts but the tech never went that low since we told her we didn't want to know the gender and dh later admitted that he could have been looking at the umbilical cord!

I had a dream about breastfeeding a baby boy last night.

With first DC, I outwardly insisted that it was a boy, because in my secret heart of hearts, I really wanted a girl, but didn't want to be actually wrong - silly, I know. This pregnancy, I've been insisting that it's a boy, and I want a boy this time. My husband says it's a girl. (He said it was a girl the first time around, too, and he was right.) Apparently there's this Chinese medicine test where you call the pregnant woman's name while her back is to you, and the way she turns to respond (left or right) tells you the baby's gender. He did this both pregnancies and makes his prediction based on that.

So yeah, total mystery here. Adds a note of additional excitement, yes?

Okay, WHICH way did you turn? I want to know. I will always turn right as far as I know, so wondering if to the right is for a boy.

My husband and I were reading some things like that when preggers with my last and apparently where your head is pointing when you conceive is what gender you will have. Hubby joked in front of my grandma and aunts that it was a boy but we're lucky it wasn't puppies.

I was so embarassed as some of the aunts and adult female cousins started to realize what he meant and got that surprised look on their faces
