What's your babe's personality..

I was really thinking Gavin would be mellow, especially w/ my first being "high needs", but he's different than I thought.

He's still got a head of dark black hair, and steel blue eyes, and olive complextion (which is odd, since dh, DS1 and I are all very fair)

He's a better sleeper than DS1, but is a screamer.. He hates dirty diapers, and if he doesn't like something he'll let you know..

What's your baby like.

*Sean is calm and content
*He loves to look at the ceiling fans and lights in our house
*He smiles lots and lots
*He loves his baths
*He's only cranky if he's having gas/poop issues
*He sleeps well unless gas is bothering him, and then he only grunts about it, not cry.
*He sleeps best in the crook of my arm
*He has lovely dark blue eyes like his dad
*He has lots of brown/reddish hair on the sides of his head, and he's almost bald on the top!!

That's Juliet too! I've said several times to DH that it's a good thing she doesn't cry as often as DS did, because man, when she does, it's a pretty intent sound.

So far, I'd say she's very easy to understand. As long as she is fed as soon as she wants it (which in the evenings appears to be every 45 min. or so) and is never put down, she's a happy little girl. Thank goodness for my baby carrier obsession!

And I really can't get over how much she sleeps. I know memories aren't completely accurate, but I don't think DS ever slept even HALF this much! My mom says I was like this as a baby, and I ended up being the most active and, okay I'll admit it, most difficult of my parents' 3 kids. So I'm not holding my breath that this indicates her overall temperment. The crazy loud cry may be a better indicator...

Completely different from my DS! My DS was the mellowest baby, slept 5-6 hour stretches at night, only cried if he was hungry or poopy. Very laid back.

Lila, on the other hand is pretty high maintenence (DH says she's like her mommy, HAH, funny!). She's pretty fussy, up every 2-2.5 hours at night to eat, hates sleeping on her back, has to fall asleep on mine or DH's chest. HATES diaper changes. Spits up a lot. Lol, but all in all I'm just as much in love with her as I am my son of course. She's got a little bit of brown hair that is gradually falling out and I think her eyes are going to stay blue! Daddy and big brother have deep brown eyes, I have blue.

Her favorite things are warm baths, nursing and being cuddled (as long as she's upright). She also loves staring at lights, watching her big brother play and staring at her daddy's facial hair, hehe.

My dd is also completely different than ds was! She is very laid back, pretty good sleeper, great complextion, and very healthy. We had some health issues with our little guy.

I am very pleased and enjoying her so much!

I was thinking Liam would be really mellow but he's turning out to be a lot more demanding than I thought. The past few days have been a horror, he will literally scream and cry until he turns bright red and nothing will sooth him. It seems if he doesn't get what he wants immediately, whether it be wanting to be held a certain way or fed, he will have a complete meltdown. Other times it seems he just cries because he wants to. He goes from awake to screaming his head off in about 5 seconds so its not really possible to react fast enough. I'm just hoping this has something to do with a growth spurt because he has changed his whole night-time waking routine around as well.

He really enjoys baths until he has to be taken out and dried off, he also likes to try and drink the water out of the bathtub. He likes bouncing on the exercise ball with us. He also likes watching sports with his papa. His hair is dark like mine (yeah!) and he has dark blue/gray eyes. I think he also has my skin tone. He also seems to enjoy being in the car, at least while its moving. His new favorite thing to look at is this sparkly light up pumpkin in our living room.

That's Aiyana too.

-She's only cranky when the doctor is around.
-She loves to stare right into the eyes of whoever is holding her.
-She's very mellow when she's full of milk.

I thought for sure this babe would be high needs and difficult b/c my first was so easy. But God has smiled on me twice and this babe is also very easy and mellow.
I am wondering if he is going to be lazy in life. He was 6 days late, he took twice as long to come out of me. Or maybe it means he just takes his time, he does things his way? He's stubborn? I don't know yet.
But as far as a newborn goes, he sleeps alot. He smiles tons. I know they are involuntary right now, but I have never seen a newborn smile so much, it's awesome. I can't wait till he does it on purpose.

He sort of looks like a little monkey. He has a full head of dark hair and steely blue eyes that I really hope stay blue like his Daddy. I think he looks more like me and may even end up with some Italian traits which would be cool.
