Oh, poo. Baby is posterior

I just had my 39 week appt today, and the midwife let me know that baby is posterior. I thought he'd settled down in an anterior position, but I was fooling myself! Send me some anterior vibes! I'm hopping on the birth ball, and laying on my left as much as I can.. and talking to my labor partner (the baby,) trying to be convincing.

Mine has been flipping between posterior and anterior for the last couple weeks. From what I understand, they can still flip pretty easily from back to front even up to and during labor. Right now I think mine is posterior again, so I have been using those tricks too. I think we still have time! My big challenge is trying not to lean back all the time when I sit, especially on the couch.

get on your hands & knees, mama! do a bunch of cat/cows and hang out there as much as you can...

Just wanted to say good luck and hope baby flips for you! I've got a breech one on my hands and am trying all the tricks too. You never know!!

Same here. My little one has been flipping around for weeks, and I'm trying to do what I can WRT sitting properly and doing cat/cows, downward dog, etc., and I'm leaving the rest in her hands <shrug>
