Also, I think getting the police involved and having a record of this is an excellent idea.

YAY!!! I'm glad that you got out. Sounds like you're doing all the right things. Just try not to stress out as much as possible and be careful when you do go to get your stuff. Just remember that it's just stuff when it comes down to it and walk away if you need to.

So sorry you're having to go through this situation but yeah for you that you are doing this! Hard as it may be, remember all of us here behind you and know that you are a strong mama, and it will be so worth it in the end being safe and knowing your daughter is in so much better place

There is a great online support group for breakups and divorces, if you need to rehash your story again and again and have people tell you how they stay strong, etc.
