Interesting. I am doing TED right now (ds has blood in his stools and does not sleep more than 1-2 hours at a time, day or night). After 2 days on TED ds is sleeping through the night and waking only to nurse and go back to sleep. We had one bad night in the last week, but I blame the fact that I forgot to give him his Zantac (for suspected reflux). I am only eating a handful of foods, but its not that big of a deal. Its certainly been easier than trying to get my stubborn boy to take a bottle.

I see both sides of the argument. The day I feel like my son is suffering needlessly, I will switch to formula. At $40 a can it will be a tough pill to swallow.

I admire the dedication of all moms that do this. They will make so many sacrifices bc they know how important the breastmilk is, I find them so amazing, when I see so many others give up so easily.
