So, how do you tye-dye prefolds?

Like I need something else to do that isn't on "THE LIST"

I actually thought it would be fun to do with Pixie when we get some time together.

Do you use buckets or what? We have a big laundry sink too. Do you have to let one color dry...before you do another? I imagine I'd be using RIT dye or whatever I can find at the local craft store- is that okay?

*ETA- I've never tye-dyed anything in my life!

I think I'll save it til I can get a clothesline put up in the laundry room, otherwise it might be too messy, right?

Any websites with info, or step-by-step instructions and photos of your results would be superduperfantabulous!

I have read some stuff on the diapering board about dyeing with kool-aid... I don't know how to do it but I am sure you could find some info there!

A lot of people don't like RIT and Kool-Aid will wash out very quickly. Search around on the Arts and Crafts forum or the diapering boards.
