Last night at dinner my family and I ate vegetables that I grew from seed for the first time ever! Okay, it is just a few green beans so far, but it is so encouraging. I never would have done this if it weren't for the encouragement and wisdom of you all, so thank you very much. Maybe someday I will serve a 100% mommy grown meal... but not very soon!

This book feels good in your hands. The paper is heavyweight, and the illustrations flow perfectly.

Good for you!
We tried a veggie garden a few years ago. The day before I was going to pick some stuff (a couple of ears of corn and some tomatoes) a @#$#!$# raccoon or something ate them. There was nothing left. We haven't done it since, but maybe this year...

I know it can be so frustrating. I am struggling with the garden and somedays the garden wins... but it has a toddler on it's side! She likes to pull things up. I think I have finally eased her out of the bang the plants with the trowel fixation though....
