Not that crunchy, but here anyway

Hi, I'm Jessica, 35, married with two daughters, 4 years old and 9 months old.

I tend to fall in the middle overall when it comes to parenting styles, but in matters of nutrition and discipline I'm definitely somewhat left of center, and I thought I'd probably get a lot of good ideas here.

we are so not crunchy we are rather mushy

BUT

it is the parenting that counts .....

I started out not that crunchy... but now I cd and babywear and have changed over to using cloth over paper products (rags over papertowels at least... not quite to the point of ditching toilet paper ) ... kept my son intact... had a homebirth..........

Suddenly these things don't seem so weird anymore and it sneaks in slowly but then just seems like the only way to go

Welcome - glad you are here! As others have said, the longer you hang out at MDC, it does have a tendency to make you 'crunchier'...it happened to me anyway!
