Hello all y'all,
I'm browsing around for a new, positive forum to continue my ttc journey, which has been going on since 6/04:
Right now I'm completely au naturel, after doing several injectible/iui cycles, and ending up with an ectopic this summer.
We're saving up to do IVF come this winter, so I'm resetting and getting positive!
I look forward to meeting some of you in the coming days!

Good luck Colleen! This is definitely a nice, safe place to talk and vent. I too have been TTC (secondary issues) since 6/04. It's been a long journey for me. I hope your IFV is easy and successful. Run with that positive attitude. it counts for a lot.

I'll be doing IVF this fall/winter too. I found out that I need another surgery before the IVF so I think December is the earliest we can do the IVF cycle.

It's definitely good to have this forum. I am not finding any of my friends IRL to be very understanding or supportive.

I guess I am a little bit lucky in the fact that we only tried for about 9 months before we found out our issues. I had adbominal pain, which lead to them finding infection on my ovaries and tubes (most likely related to my appendix bursting years before). But we also found out that we would have to go straight to IVF, that was our only option, so that was a bit of a shock.

I am also doing IVF this winter, possibly December. We are just getting the process rolling after trying for over a year with blocked tube(s).

Maybe I'll start a Winter IVF thread soon

We are scheduled for a mock transfer and consult to discuss protocol this coming Tuesday.
