Ok starting something new again! Stole it from another board :

Basically post what you've been able to eat the past week, what you havent, and what your craving. Also feel free to post a recipe that you tried this past week. Recipes must be your own, or if you use someone elses, just link to it instead of post it. Any tips on how you included extra protien or pottassium or calcium into your foods are helpful too!

Been able to eat:
Pretty much most anything

Unable to eat:
Most meats are debateable at this point....it all depended on how it was cooked and how it was flavored

Cravings:
Fresh tomatoes with salt
Pomegranites (sp?) but they arent in season right now I guess
Pastas with butter and parmesan cheese

And Ive finally been able to up my fluid intake to atleast 100 oz a day. Got rid of the Coke I had been drinking for the nasua. And have been able to drink a little juice here and there now without getting sick.

I am so unpredictable when it comes to eating, I don't know if I'll be able to eat it until I actually attempt it. I was really sick this week with an intestinal thing so eating was almost out of the question with me.

I have been craving tomatoes with salt too, I made my dh stop at the store last night to buy me more. So funny. And I watch Everyday Italian so that makes me crave whatever she's making, it all looks so good.

I think I'll be making my Polish Goulash this weekend, it's filled with vegetables and all sorts of good stuff, and fruits and veggies are what I need now.

Hopefully next week I'll have better answers because I won't be sick!

hmmm let's see...

Been able to eat:
most anything

Unable to eat:
chicken (which I usually love). Strangely I've REALLY been wanting a hamburger, and I haven't had beef for probably 8 years. I've been eating more pork and lamb which is close -- but just not a burger!
Onions
Bell peppers

Cravings:
pop, especially root beer (bad, I know)
apples
Not a lot of particular cravings -- I just like to eat!

Mmm, tomatoes and salt. Same here. i can't get enough of them!!!Lucky for me, it is tomato season in our CSA!

I have been able to eat pretty much everything. Except if I have half and half that is pasteurized I get explosive bowel movements the next morning Other than that, it's all raw milk, baby.

I also want salty meat. I am loving burritos, guacamole, salty corn chips. Definitely liking eggs, and good butter.

Foods I've been able to eat:
pretty much everything.

Foods I've been unable to eat:
Eggs, which I try to do for breakfast (get your protein early!)...had a very hard time getting just one down this morning. Anyone have any good ideas for preparing eggs?? Scrambled with cheese is getting old.

Cravings:
Cheeseburgers. Oh, I'd LOVE a cheeseburger. And Jambalaya, which I made for dinner on Wednesday.

I'm trying to get 100 grams of protein in every day, but feel successful if I make it to 80 or so. lol.

Hardboiled is how I have been eating them. You can also sneak them into oatmeal, meatloaf, ramen type noodles, fried rice. I like to make deviled eggs and then use a little of the egg mixture on slices of fresh tomato....its sooo good!

Been able to eat:
pretty much everything

Been unable to eat:
my favorite homemade corn-sausage chowder! (The broth tasted fine, but I only wanted the broth.)

Been craving:
Soup! I just want to drink something hot and salty all day long. Tomato, mushroom, beef-onion . . . mmmmm. But too much salt gives me a headache, so I've had to limit myself on this one.

Been able to eat:
MMM food.

Unable to eat:
More than 1 cup of milk at a time. :

Cravings:
this week I craved the following...
lemon ginger muffins
apple pie
tandoori chicken
lots of bread and butter
eggs

Erin....an egg suggestion for you. How about a quiche or a breakfast casserole? The nice thing about a breakfast casserole is that you can bake one up and then eat it over the next few days, and you can add whatever you feel like to it. Most recipes include bread cubes, cheese, onion or pepper....
oh, and don't forget french toast. A really tasty and filling way to eat french toast is with apple slices, peanut butter, yogurt, and maple syrup. Sounds weird, but it's good. My kids love it!

I've been a bad girl with food this week.

Been able to eat:
Just about everything, which is exactly what I ate this week (everything).

Unable to eat:
Green vegetables, for the most part. I managed some green beans today, though!

Cravings:
Doritos! I made my husband run out for some, then ate the whole bag in one sitting.

Whew! so glad I'm not the only one. I've been intimidated to post, 'cause you all seem so virtuous I've been having trouble with veggies (though I crave fruits), but today I was a good little girl and ate a super-yummy salad for lunch. Hope that makes up for the milkshake last night! :

able to eat:
most anything

unable to eat:
having a hard time with veggies lately (except tomatoes with salt and pepper--yum), but I did have a spinach salad with chicken for lunch today

cravings:
I have been really craving chips with French onion dip. The only thing that has kept me from caving is the fact that I'm on the gd diet and it's just such a bad use of my limited allotment of carbs, and plus I wouldn't be able to eat enough to actually satisfy my craving.

Oh, and orange juice! I really want a big, tall glass of oj.

Able to eat:
Anything -finally!

Unable to eat:
Nothing. Thank goodness. I thought fish was out, but when I put lemon on it yesterday it seemed miraculously wonderful again

Craving:
Alcohol (don't worry, I won't have any)

Can't eat: Anything fried or greasy (probably a good thing) I smelled some french fries this week and almost vomited.

Craving: I have been eating ceasar salads by the
giant bowl-full. Yogurt. Lots of yogurt.

Can't eat/drink: Soda any kind
Can eat: Anything I had purple eyed peas, rice and tomatos mixed in...so super yummy..
Ribs
french fries with lots of ketchup

Ha! Glad to be of service. Really my diet has been atrocious this whole pregnancy so far. I had all these plans of eating organic and balancing my diet with whole grains and vegetables, but what I've actually been eating is chips and cookies, lots of white bread, and cheeseburgers and fries. I have no excuse. I'm just a bad, bad pregger.

Had a visit with the nutritionist at the doc's office yesterday...and found that I need to eat MORE! I'm getting about 2000 cals/day (she estimated) and I need to get up to 2800. Eating for three...

Eating: as much as I can stand. Love salty/sweet. Milkshakes!!

Not: Chicken. Some dinners, after I go through all the trouble of making them. Something about the preparation leaves me without an appetite. Weird.

Have to add: high-calorie, good food. Like avocados, nuts, seeds, meat. And veggies. And fruit.

Just call me Hoover!

After 20 weeks of eating lots of fruits and veggies, nothing too sweet, and in normal quantaties, I have been on a BINGE for the past week. I stop at every vending machine I pass just to admire the many tasty options I have, which is very unusual as I very rarely eat junk food. And pizza, it's not cheesy or big enough. Anything taco bell, fattening, or high calorie tastes delicious and salad is so unsatisfying. I hope this wears off .
