Hi! Two weeks ago (wow, that was a while ago already!) my son arrived.
I had an amazing hospital birth, no medications, was able to labor standing up and in a tub, they gave me the baby literally 2 seconds after he was born and I was able to hold him etc for several hours before they "checked him out" cord wasn't cut until I gave permission etc etc Anyway it was fabulous and I am super-excited about it because my first birth was a induced, epidural type birth (that I am totally fine with but this one was SO much better!)
He is fabulous and we are taking our first trip tomorrow. (all the way to Chicago from MN, world-traveler

The only thing that we have to work on is finding some sort of baby carrier/sling that he is willing to be in for more than a minute.
