Awesome August swap!

Thread Starter
OK- I'm giving this swap set up thing a try. I'll use the same rule as Trading Post at least 50 posts and 90 days membership.

This a swap of completed crafts.

Reply if you would like to participate and I will randomly match people up. On match up day I will post the matches and pm with the matches. You will be responsible for procuring addresses yourselves.

If you would like to do more than one person, let me know that too.
If you send to more than one, you will get more than one.

Also- if you are in Canada and would like to swap with another Canadian to save postage, let me know.

Maximum supply cost $10.

If you haven't completed a previous swap, please do so before joining.

Sign up no later than Aug 8. Matchups on 10th, Mailout by Aug 29

If I forgot something let me know- I'm new at this.

Edited for clarification- Thanks WendyLouWho

Okay, is this an craft item swap or a supplies-from-an-ISO-list swap? I'm a bit confused :

would someone mind explaining, in detail, how swaps work...do you decide what you send the other person, do you give them a list and they pick...?

The way this one works is that the sender decides what to send without input from the reciever. Not that the sender COULDN'T get input, but it is not required or anything.

SO, once everyone joins up, they are assigned name(s). Once given the name, the sender contacts the reciever to get an address. If the sender wants to customize or coordinate with the receiver that is up to them.

I'll do it! I'll just take one person, though...never done a swap like this before! Should be fun.

still trying to decide if i'm crafty enough for you mamas.......just wondering if there are any restrictions on what you CAN'T send (ie: baked goods or anything)....thanks!
Count me in- just for one, though. And since this isn't everyone's taste, I'll be right up front and say that I plan to send my swappee a tie-dye tshirt. It's possible i can even honor color preferences.

So if anyone wants to claim that one (or conversely if anyone wouldn't be caught dead in tie dye...) let thistle know.

ooohh, I'd love the tie dye

Id be willing to take baked goods if you send the recipe along.

thistle- who had no idea this would get so complicated. Luckily I like logic puzzles.
ok....count me in! ....one question tho...are you guys making things for mamas or for kiddos or both or it doesn't matter...?
Me too-just one.
I have an apron and head scarf that would be perfect for a large Waldorf doll that I could send (ended up too small for a human LOL)

Otherwise, I can do pressed flower/leaf cards, bean bags with drawstring bag, and wool felt bags perfect for a small doll to sit in, purse for a little girl/yound lady (you can pick fabric from a few choices) or whatever...and decorative simple appliqued wool felt pillows-as I learned from a swap with rwikene .

I'm a lurker...

and don't post very much so I don't know if I'll qualify. If you'll let me, I'd love to join and take 2 people. I'm getting pretty good with my sewing machine.
