Are you all HUNGRY too?

Lord Have Mercy! I feel like I cannot eat enough. I bring a decent amount of food to work, snacks and whatnot, but I feel like I spend every minute thinking about the next meal, or trying to shut my growling stomach up or find some way to get another snack (there aren't many that I like in the vending machines).

Tell me I'm not the only one willing to eat a horse?

And why haven't I made chocolate chip cookies yet?!?

It's weird to feel like this. I am desperately hungry sometimes and I can really put the food away. And somehow I almost never feel actually full. This baby has taken over my whole body and mind.

It's not all the time for me, but when it hits, I really can't wait. Now I know how my teenaged boys feel all the time! I'm MUCH more sympathetic to them and keep Top Ramen in the house for when I just can't afford anything better for them.

I was like this with ds. Either I was eating, or thinking about what I was going to eat next......seriously!

This pregancy is different, I not as hungry, but Im still eating all the time...

I feel like that when I'm nursing, but surprisingly not now. It's so strange to have gone straight from nursing to pregnancy (dd weaned the week I got preggo) and have my appetite drop so much! I must need more fuel to make milk than to make a baby!

I go through phases - our MW said it's like growth spurts. One day I feel like I can't shovel it in fast enough, & then the next day I just feel exhausted!

Now, I snack constantly, so that I don't have much time to get hungry. Hunger=CRAZY STEPHANIE. Not good.

I find after my two breakfasts in the morning (cereal or toast at 7am, eggs at 9:30am) I don't get too hungry during the day... but I really can't eat much at one time anymore... I already feel like my stomach is being squashed up!

OMGoodness... I could eat a horse. Well not really, but a lot of cow! HA!
Last night I wanted lasagne and ceasar salad and cheesecake. So my DH went to Amicis (most wonder pizza ever) and got them all for me. But then I started eating and could bearly get through my salad, let alone anything else. I find although I get so famished I fill up really quick and then have no appetite, then bam so hungry I could cry. I've started keeping premade meal things in the fridge 'cause when I'm that hungry I have no appetite, I can't decide what I want and will pout and get hungrier and angry.
Pregnancy is proving to be so much fun!

I was just thinking how hungry I was when I came across this thread..
I am 23+ weeks now and just started getting the hungry horrors about a week ago... I've only gained 7lbs but I look like I'm 8 months already: I can't eat enough.. I've even been eating KitKats in the middle of the night..YIKES. My dh just shakes his head and laughs when he finds me eating Reese's at 5 am. Atleast he thinks it's funny!

hee hee hee! It's so good to see I'm not the only one! Boy those hunger urges are crazy!!!
I went to my supervisor and asked where's a good place to get chocolate chip cookies... Well I came back from lunch and there's a bag of Peperidge Farms Chocolate-Chip Caramel Cookies on my desk! He's a funny guy, "it's for Stewie" he says!

ME! Hungry all the time!!

And now that I'm back on the diabetic diet, I can't just crack open a bag of chips and chow down.

That's the same for me. I get so full off a little bit of food, then in like an hour I'm starving again and I must eat right way or I might just die, lol! Of course when I'm hungry I want everything and make a lot of food and I then can only eat like half it.

I have been STARVING since conception. I can;t stop eating or thinking about eating. My friends seem to think that it means I'm growing a little boy since they have heard that boys always make you hungrier. I wasn't like this with dd so you never know

I was like that too and looked downright anorexic after Phoenix was born. OMG, I will never forget how hungry I was when I was tandeming! I'd fill a dinner plate with as much food as I could possibly fit on it and them come back to the kitchen for seconds, thirds, and sometimes even fourths. That's about the only part of tandeming I am NOT going to miss!

Hmm, now that's an interesting thought. I wasn't hungry all the time like this when I was pregnant w/ my dd and I know I'm having a boy this time. Just another thing to add to the gender signs list, you know with the things like craving sweet food over salty, and which way your wedding band moves when placed over your belly-all the really scientific reasons, lol!

I am suprised at how much I can eat at once sometimes without even feeling super full. Today I went to my favorite authenic mexican tacqueria and had huge plate of beef fajitas with corn tortillas, pinto beans, and rice....my plate was clean! YUM!
