Cavity FREE that is!:
He (5 years old) has none at the moment and I do not want him getting anymore.
Here is what we do now:

Limit sugar
He is not allowed juice (feingold diet)
Brush X 2 a day (him in morning and we do night)
Floss X 1 a day at night
Fluoride rinse before bed :
Xylitol gum 2-4 times daily

What else can I add to this?

Please no flaming on the fluoride my hubby and I came to the agreement after alot of dental work on my son.

That's what I'm doing for my son. Plus I got some MI Paste and put that on in the morning and I brush his teeth with a Sonicare at night.

Whats MI paste?
My son has sensory issues the Sonicare freaks him out, I have it for my own teeth so thats how I know.

MI Paste is pretty cool stuff. Unless you don't eat milk.

I'd include a probiotic in my diet... think about homeopathic remedies... Lots of leafy greens (collards, kale)... multivitamins... that clay that I talked about in my long post, Illite I think... Actually that long post of mine from a few months ago has a really long list of things that can be done.

Yay on no cavities!

Depending on what kind of Xylitol you're using, up it.

Children [U]NEED[U]6 to 12 grams of Xylitol each day as a preventive for cavities. Read www.zellies.com this is written by a pediatric dentist; also www.epicdental.com. Epic guaranties no cavities if you use their program.

We use spiffies and it says use up to 6 gum a day. so we do that.
I think thats one of the reasons he has no new tooth decay.
