Thrush diet: What do I eat?

I am nursingmy 9 month old 5-6 times a day. Ten days ago I began to try to get rid of thrush; once I realized I had it, I immediately stopped eating refined sugars and dairy. Then after reading the "Battling Thrush Support Thread" it seemed like I should get rid of ALL sugar (fruit included) and flour, starches and grains-- except maybe oats and barley?

So I have tried eliminating most all of that. I have had some whole wheat tortillas, and some grapenuts, but I switched to soymilk and I am eating mostly oatmeal, meat, eggs, and greens. A little fresh fruit, and veggies in soup.

I am STARVING. And my milk supply is low; I can tell my ds is a little frustrated when he nurses.

My moods are horrible, too... between low blood sugar and tiredness! My kids are hiding from me!

Is this too much to cut out? Is it necessary?

I usually only reccomend these diets for recurring and resistant thrush. If this is the first time you have had it I think standard treatment is ok, and the diet is not necessary.
