When did your LO drop??

I am 37 weeks, 2 days. I have not gotten any internal exams and do not plan on doing so. My Midwife does external exams and as of 5 days ago my LO has not dropped yet. I feel her feet in my stomach and I think she is as high as could possibly be. I am a FTM and know that FTM's usually do drop before labor begins. I am just curious what week everyone was at when their LO's dropped. I have tons of contractions but no other signs of labor. I am thinking she will make it until her Halloween due date or later.

I find it hard to believe that nobody has a response for me
I just want to hear when other peoples LO dropped and how close to the EDD it was.

i don't know when mine dropped i didn't feel any change but mine has dropped. dropped a while ago. i think maybe because i have a short torso my baby just grew tot he point where head had to be down low cu no place else for head but feet stayed up high. thats how it feels anyways.

eta since i don't know when i can't say how close to my due date baby had dropped i think it was around or before i was 36 weeks though

LO~ little one

FTM~ first time Mama..... Right?

It has been said that many mamas drop with their first and pgs after the first often don't well into labor.... everyone is so different though. I did drop a bit with my first acouple weeks before her birth, not really until I was laboring with my 2nd (2.5 yrs later) and this time Baby is now very very low as of this week and I can breathe again. Head engaged nicely .
Some Mamas drop weeks before their little ones arrive though,so it doesn't mean labor is or is not immenent.

Every time I see FTM, I think Female-to-Male transexual, so I had no idea what you were talking about.:

And didn't know what an LO was, either. A JLO, yes. A LO, no.:

Ok, anyway, my baby dropped around my 36 wk, according to the midwife. She is engaged and ready, and I believe it by the waddle I got going on and the uncomfortable feeling in my uterus. It feels...full and low.

I have a friend who with her first one never dropped, until hours into labor.

So..not sure it matters?

Okay, I can answer now! Isaac started to drop at 35 weeks (I think). I am waiting to confirm, but I think he's fully engaged now. I'll find out at our home visit on Tuesday.

My first didn't drop until I was literally in labor. (birthed at almost 43 wks--7 hr labor)

My 2nd bounced up and down on my cervix and finally engaged while in labor. (birthed at 42 wks--2.5 hr labor)

My third dropped about 2 wks before birth and firmly engaged about 1/2 hr before birth. (birthed at almost 44 wks--2.75 hr labor)

(do need to mention that both my first and second were born occipital posterior so their positioning could have had something to do with them never really "clicking" into the dropped position).
