Natural carpet cleaner?

We recently adopted a new dog and he has a few *ahem* quirks that have me looking for a good carpet cleaner. I've tried vinegar and oxo brite and neither one has been effective in stain removal. Any suggestions? (Besides get rid of the dog. )

I use borax and then vacuum it up. Then I carpet clean with vinegar, rubbing alcohol and a lot of water.

I found a product called Folex. It doesn't tell you what's in it, but it says it's non-toxic. It works great!

Thanks for the responses! I'll check and see if I still have any Borax in the house. Maybe it'll be worthwhile to order some Folex as an insurance policy?
