Hi everyone! I see that some people have done a formal introduction and figured it was a nice way to break in and say hi to everyone. I'm 30 and DH is 32 and we are expecting our first child on 2/16/2008!
I still can't believe I'm really pregnant, it's so surreal! We'd only been trying for 2 months when it happened and were expecting it to take much, much longer. I have endo, interstitial cystitis and lost a precious ovary on 1/06 - luckily, with the help of my miracle worker naturopath, we conceived very quickly (on the strong suggestion of my OB/GYN)!
I'm excited, but nervous about having our first child - a baby girl! I'm incredibly lucky to have the most loving and supportive DH I could ever hope for. He keeps me grounded, tells me how beautiful I am all the time and picks up the slack whenever needed without being asked. I'm one lucky mama
.Needless to say, we're more inclined to natural parenting and haven't had a chance to talk to many other people about it so I'm thrilled to find this site! I've been getting mothering since I conceived but having a group of people to commune with is always the best.
Thanks everyone and I look forward to getting to know everyone as we journey towards 2/08!
