I may or may not have a yeast infection? What should I do? I think with DS I had one towards the end and I used some OTC 3 day stuff. Is that okay or is there a better/safer way? TIA!

You are so close to due date that I would NOT take OTC stuff w/o first talking to your Midwife. I would try probiotics, eat tons of plain organic yogart and insert garlic cloves in yoni at night. If you feel that you need something internal at night besides garlic then I think you would be safer with a homeopathic remedy such as Boiron's "Yeastaway." I used this earlier in my pregnancy and had good results. Good Luck!

I called my OB and he said to make black tea and put it on a washrag down there. I will try that, garlic, and white vinegar for now. It seems to be very external at this point, so I think that should help! Thanks for the advice, I appreciate it! I was getting desperate!

I've always found white vinegar very helpful for the exterior pain and itching. How about using some calendula cream externally to help soothe your irritated skin after the vinegar?

Many sites/sources recommend confirming you have a YI before you treat it (just so you don't make things worse if you've got something other than a YI). But I think that any of these at-home remedies should be OK either way.

Between the tea, and the white vinegar I think the yeasties are going away! Thank goodness!
I didn't think to dilute the white vinegar and I just squirted away down there. I thought I burnt my yoni right off! I was screaming and flailing around! -Had to jump right in the shower. DH was like, duh, it is an acid! Thanks for all the ideas! I am relieved that I don't/didn't have to use any OTC crap!
