2WW late October . . . - Page 3

So something is going on with me this month and I'm all confused as to what my body is telling me. DS weaned on his 3rd b-day on August 5th, so I imagine my homrones are still trying to sort themselves out...

First day of my cycle was Oct 1. I got a 2nd line on an OPK on the 11th when I tested both that morning and that night (not darker than the test line, about half as dark). Every day after that I got no second line. We bd'd on the 11th, 12th and 13th.

My breasts started hurting on the 12th and are still quite achy.

Today I feel crampy, like AF is around the corner That would be a crazy short cycle though. I'm usually 27-28 days.

No advice, just hugs from me. Nursing is messing up my cycle. It used to be 28 days starting at 6:00am on the dot for YEARS. But since AF came back, its been lots of annovulatory cycles anywhere from 24 to 34 days. Blah

I got weird results for the OPKs too..... not sure it even effected when we would have BD.

Anyway, today I have been super crampy in my lower back and pelvis and have been nauseous all day long. I never had anything like this with DS, so its hard to imagine its anything besides mild food poisoning or kidney issues But I am hopeful!

I am a new member and also new to charting to TTC.
I am also 3 dpo and going through the torturous 2WW!!!
I thought I was the only POAS obsessor!! And trash digger - oh and I also hold it up to the light to make sure I'm not missing anything!
Now,this being the 2nd month ttc, I have resisted the urge to test thus far. I O'd on cd13 and have an LP of 13-15 days. So I am thinking I will test on cd 25? That is 13dpo (i will probably cave and do one on day 11 though)
Last month I could've sworn I was pg. Bloating, tired, dizzy.....the power of suggestion is amazing. Now this month thus far I feel normal so maybe that is the key? lol
Anyway, kudos to those waiting it out as well.

Congratulations, Heather!

Re: opks, I used them this month -- for poas-aholicness (that is the weirdest looking word I have ever written), I can say that on my last opk test day, I sat watching the little plastic stick for a full eleven minutes. I was sitting on my floor, eating pistachios, like I was at a movie. It wasn't even a very good movie, because the little line never did anything exciting. But anyway, it had gotten dark the day before.

That's another thing about poas obsession: retesting the positive test. I have not gotten a bfp on an hpt yet (yet! go, body!), but I can already completely understand the urge to see the two lines come up again and again...again and again...even though the positive test is like, 99.999 percent accurate after 14 dpo or whatever it is, and even though hpts do cost actual money. and the people who buy every single KIND of possible hpt and test each one three times...I think I am just too broke to do that, ha ha ha

You know, somehow I never worried about a false +. If there's another line, there's another line, and I didn't even do a second test when I was pg with my daughter.

Of course, she was unplanned, shocking, and somewhat appalling to discover, so maybe I'll feel differently now that I'm HOPING for a + instead of thinking "Holy Lord, what happened to my NuvaRing? And doesn't the universe SEE that we live in a shoe-box apartment?"

I'm so excited to test when I WANT a +!

I'm in! Today is O day, so my 2ww starts tomorrow. Trying to decide if I should order some of those tests from early-pregnancy-tests.com so I can start testing at 10dpo...

Holy crap I'm having a hard time with this 2ww thing.

here i am, 4dpo. FOUR. How am I going to make it to 10???

So I had a clear + OPK followed by a clear thermal shift a day later. But my cervix is still high and soft at what I think is 3dpo. What the is going on. I have never charted before and I'm not likeing it. Please tell me the happens all the time. I really want to rest my girly parts.

Congratulations Heather!!

I'm trying not to get too bummed out today. My temp took a dip and I've been having cramps the past 2 days like AF is around the corner. I really hope not because if so it looks like I've got a short LP!! :

Welcome Jenn,
Last month was our first month ttc as well-- and I had the same "symptoms" and turned out not to be pg. Very confusing.....:
I just thought I'd let you know you're not alone.
Good luck this month!

Congratulations Heather!!!!

I took my temp this morning and it's still high so that was reassuring. I'm 6 dpo. FF is still giving me dotted crosshairs for cd 25 but I don't think that will change because I had no fertile cm. Oh well. I'm doing very well this 2ww. This is my 5th cycle ttc and I think I've had pretty much every symptom in the book - including a bfp, and I'm still not pregnant. So I've finally learned my lesson - all I can do is be patient. As much as that sucks .

Lindsey -

don't get bummed too early. cramps and a temp dip are signs of both af and pg. : to you.

Hi everyone!

So I'm 7DPO today, and I'm feeling surprisingly calm this month.

Although, it's always the last 3 -4 days before AF arrives that I really freak out anyway, so there's still time for me to go crazy!!

I'm thinking I'll test on Monday morning (12 DPO). I don't like to test early (AF not due after 14 DPO), but I have that familily doc appointment Monday so I'd like to have either a BFP, or at least another BFN to prove I'm having problems here!

Gillian28 - this is our 5th month too & it looks like we O'd around the same time!

Okay who want's to be my testing buddy? I'm testing 1 week from today on Wednesday morning. (I'll be 11dpo)

We can encourage each other to wait until Wednesday too.

I'm dying here, who's testing soon by the way?
Oooo - I do like the idea of testing buddies! I won't test until 10/28, which will be either 11 or 12 dpo (my O date is either yesterday or today).
I will be testing on Saturday if I don't have my period before then, but it feels like I might.

I don't know 7 days out...implantation dip????

Ehh, I'm just going on the way I feel, which is like AF is on her way. TMI alert: I can feel a difference in the way the walls of my vagina feel right before AF, and they feel like that. I'm still hoping but I'm not expecting anything.

I want a testing buddy, but I'll be out of town that day I'm testing Monday, 10dpo & DH's b-day!!
