How long can PPD last?

Well, the title is pretty self explanitory I guess. Just wondering how long PPD can last? Ok, here's a little breakdown: My oldest is 7, then 5, 1 1/2, and now expecting in Feb. Is it possible to have PPD the whole time, or does it turn in to something else after so long?

Thanks!

Untreated PPD will turn into depression, or lead to a relapse in many, if not most, cases. You could certainly still have PPD from your pregnancy with your youngest, and you could have pregnancy induced depression, also. I would talk to a therapist about it soon. This way, you can get treatment before this baby comes and you will be able to prevent PPD with this pregnancy.
