and at 40 weeks 6 days, it's about damned time!

I've been having contractions for about 4 hours 7-10 minutes apart. The last few have been 6 minutes apart. I think it's coming up on baby time! Of course, I'm trying to let my family get some sleep while I ride through it. I wasn't sure if it was a good idea until my 4 year old had a pee pee accident in bed. I was trying to change the sheets when another one hit. OUCH!

So, for the five minutes both hubby and she were awake I was so agitated. Now that I"m sitting in the dark alone, though, I'm cool.

Me too, me too!
We can be labor buddies! (I'm kidding, I doubt I'll want to be online much longer!) Contractions woke me up about an hour ago, water just broke. The contractions are not very long right now (30 sec or so) and moderate intensity, but they are regular, and they're increasing. And my water broke!!!

My water hasn't broken yet--which is good because I have to go in ASAP after that because I am having antibiotics for GBS. My first labor was only about 8 hours from my water breaking and I'm assuming this one will go MUCH FASTER. So, I am hoping the water breaking holds out until it's a reasonable time to drop off our daughter at our friend's home!
