what a tease!
The day before yesterday I woke up full of P&V, and
finally felt some of that nesting thing goin' on.
So, after dropping DH off at school, I took the Liblet to the drop-in play/care place so she could get some kiddo time in (she goes one afternoon a week so I can work, and loves it) and came back home to tackle the house a bit.
House, work.....
... contractions!
More than the typical BH contractions, that's for sure.
By the time I picked up Lib and met a girlfriend at Lowe's, they were at the point of needing to pause-and-relax when they came on.
Back home, where my friend took some belly pics of me.

Then she went home, and I was planning on making a quick run to the store and then maybe heading out for a bit. Yeah, I'm a weirdo, wanting to go OUT while possibly in labor, but I was so antsy.
Well, the store took forever, and I was pretty sure that things were still moving along accordingly.
So, when I got back, I opted out of further trips out of the house, and decided to actually time the contractions a bit.
30-45 seconds long, about 5 min apart. I timed for about an hour. Yeah, ok... sounds good.
I called my midwife, and left a message saying I was going to try to sleep and I would call her if anything changed. She called back and told me she was at a birth in Georgetown, but that one of her backups could come by shortly and be with me until she got there if needed.
I declined and decided to stick with my original plan of snoozing.
Which turns out to be good, as by the second time I got up to pee, things had slowed down to basically nothing.
7am the next morning, I'm up and moving, but no contractions of note.
I took DD to a playnasium yesterday and ran around with her for about 4 hours there, went to three different stores, and then went out for Indian food. Other than some weird groin spasms, nothing much.

:
I started taking EPO night before last too, and I started the Raspberry Leaf tea yesterday. I still don't know if I'm really ready yet for the baby to be here, but I don't want to go through (or put DH through) too much of this sort of prodromal labor.

I know I'm not actually DUE until Tuesday, so I don't really want to push anything along. I was totally OK with waiting until whenever until I had this little 'teaser' evening. Now I keep waffling back and forth. hrmf.
