You did really good Dea! One cookie is not going to be the end! You had 3 healthy foods with one treat Sounds like a success to me

Good Morning Mommies!!

DS and I shared a large peach with a little milk and sugar for breakfast. Then I drank and Ensure Pretty good morning food wise.

I was making a pot of coffee for mom and dad and the cofe pot started to over flow! It took me 30 min. to clean up the mess and figure out why it over flowed. It seems some coffee grounds had plugged the hole that the coffee trickles out of into the pot. Its all cleaned up, but now I'm pooped!:

sigh...

i had a brownie for breakfast. and then i "yelled" at dh for not eating them all before i woke up. seriously! he should know better than that.

the rest of the day shouldn't be so bad. i'm meeting a friend for vietnamese food for lunch and will be having dinner at home on my own tonight while dh is out. as long as there are no brownies here for the rest of the day, i should survive.

Sarah I had eaten 3 cookies earlier in the day.
I have my grapes on the counter so when I am being controlled by the sweet tooth, I'll eat those instead.

wow. i ended up having one of the weirdest food days ever. i was really tempted to not even share it here.

b: brownie with a glass of milk.
l: beef w/lemongrass (absolutely, positively FANTASTIC. i swear, i would take fish sauce intravenously if i could. it's a problem.)
s: apple w/ peanutbutter
d: potato and onion fried in a little olive oil and a healthy serving of ketchup. i'm really glad i only made a little bit (one mediumish potato) because i could have eaten 8 pounds of the stuff. i have no idea where the craving came from. i didn't even know we had ketchup!! but i HAD TO HAVE IT. i was tempted to squirt ketchup directly into my mouth. it's sick.

i'm going to be starving soon and though i have all sorts of handy protein in the kitchen (rotisserie chicken, turkey breast, cottage cheese, eggs), all i want is more salty carbs. i think there's a box of kashi crackers in there calling to me.

maybe the baby is training for a marathon or something?

Ok. I've done pretty good. or, not to bad.
Goals:
1) No Wheat: well... i did great until I had a cracker after dinner.
2) No Sugar: well... i had some maple syrup and some molasses, but nothing refined.
3) exercise: eh, no.
4) 2 servings of high-quality protein: eh, no. i had some almonds, and some eggs, but no meat.
4) more veggies: just spinach at lunch... but i did have 3 servings of fruit...

oh well. it's definitely better than yesterday.

Ok ladies I fell off the bandwagon for 2 days, but now I want back on! Today I had a bowl of cereal for breakfast and a yogurt for a snack. I'm about to eat some soup for lunch. All I need to do is make sure I drink water!!

Where's everyone else at?

i'm here!

i've had a really bizarre couple of food days, but it's not the end of the world. dh brought donuts home this morning and i only hate half!

we are going out of town for the weekend and have a super fancy dinner to attend tomorrow night (i totally lucked out on finding a decent little black maternity dress). i assume i will have to indulge a little, but it will be worth it!

Yesterday was so strange. Somehow I managed to make it to 6pm with only eating toast. Not drinking anything and no more than toast at breakfast. Not like me at all. I wasn't even hungry. Although later I did feel like crap, really crampy and just unhappy. I won't do that again!

Dea- I'm glad you are ok! I have days where I don't even realize how little I've had to eat or drink until I start getting sick (i.e. dizzy, faint, nauseas even) Then I load up on food and get a tummy ache *sigh*

I had a few sweets today, but much less than I was My abdomen is tender again today It's not pleasant and no amount of water or changing positions is helping.

Sarah I used to not eat a lot in university. I'd get all caught up in everything and totally forget to eat. I haven't done that in ages!

Today I've been good, I had cereal and a banana. Then veggie soup and a piece of pita, and so far only one cookie.
