Why is my breastmilk so yellow??

It's always had a faint yellowish tint to it. But last night I pumped and it was very yellow!! This morning, too.

I took half of a prenatal vitamin yesterday a.m. I don't take them regularly, but I have taken them before and I've never seen my milk this yellow. Besides, I took that over 24 hours ago and my milk is still really yellow. The only thing I can think of that I've changed in my diet is a few days ago I started increasing my good fats--I've been eating coconut oil and taking fish oil supplements for a few days now.

Any ideas as to the new hue to my milk?

TIA!

My milk would do that if I took Vit C...it would also turn orangish if I ate a lot of carrots, etc..

funny, huh?

I think it's your diet. My milk does that when I take Flax Oli. Last year it was more orangy during October and November (love pumpkin and squash)LOL
