Can I dye my Imse Vimse trainers?

I'm a total newbie. I've always used disposables, but I recently bought a few pairs of Imse Vimse trainers used now that DS is starting to use the potty. I'm not even sure if this is the appropriate place for this post.

The seller advertised them as "white" but they are, in fact, pink.: Like the kind of pink that happens when you accidentally put a red sock in with the white load. Which wouldn't be a problem if my DS was a girl, but he's not! And, to my surprise, he's getting picky about what he wears (where in the heck did he learn this?). But that's neither here nor there.

My question is, can I dye them a darker color (like green or blue) without ruining them? And if so, any tips on brands of dye/ where to buy it?

TIA!

Are they all natural fiber? if so, I would imagine they could be dyed, especially since they seemed to pick up the red so well. If they're pink, I'd go with blue- green+pink would make a kinda icky brown, I'd guess. I would just try one with inexpensive RIT dye and see how it did.

I believe they're organic cotton.

So, blue it is!

Thanks!
