Preschool timetable/routine

DD decided she doesn't want to go to preschool any more, but I want to keep some degree of formal routine to our days since she will have to go back eventually (I don't think the option exists to home school here). I have been trying a bit, but I have been directionless and we usually end up watching TV, which is NOT what I want.

I don't need any curriculum or anything, I want to keep actual academics to a minimum, but I need a structure for the day, a proper timetable, mostly for myself.

So preschool homeschoolers, give me an idea of how much you do in a day, what sort of things you do, the flow of an average day (and week). Help me plan out a schedule. I need to focus myself. I plan to do about 15 minutes of academics a day, printing, basic reading/letter sounds, counting, that sort of thing.

I can't help much with schedule or fucus. We get up at 0800 eat breakfast, take a two mile walk with the stroller, play at the park, eat lunch, then....

Ds will not sit for structured lesson's with me, so I'm going a little Waldorf with some "Electric Company" and "Muzzy" thrown in. I also try to get him "toys" that help him learn, like wipeable writing books. We also go to the Zoo and museum. I'm switching to a children's museum that has more to do and a craft time twice a day.

If you are in the US I believe that hs is an option in every state, but with varying degrees of state supervision.

Firstly what country are you in. Homeschooling is legal in most places olthough some countries do make it more difficult.

There are heaps of sites online with free ideas for preschool. Heres a few I really like-

I would love walks and parks - none around here though

I'm in Trinidad (West Indies) from what I have found it can be done, but the child has to be taught by a qualified teacher and supervised by a senior education official, so something like tutoring, but more complicated - not what I have in mind.

Here's our schedule (it's VERY loose in that if we don't do something, I don't worry.)

6am-8am- wake up, breakfast, daddy leaves for work
8am-9am- playtime
9am-10am- school time (I have a curriculum set up and we work on it until we're done or until she's board, depending on her mood), playtime
10am-11am- I try for outdoor playtime but that requires we go to a park since our backyard is not child friendly, so depending on my mood it might be indoor playtime instead
11am-12am- lunch, playtime
12am-1pm- finish school work, playtime
1pm-2pm- chore time for mama, playtime for kiddos
2pm-4pm- playtime
4pm-5pm- get dinner ready, finish chores
5pm-6pm- daddy comes home, eat dinner, playtime
7pm-8pm- bath, play time, story time
8pm- bedtime

There are some days when we stick to the schedule and other days when we don't even touch the schedule. I can guarentee we don't get all of her school work done on Wednesdays when we have playgroup
