does anyone know if and how mw's in massachusetts can get access to abx, pitocin, etc? thnx

If I had a client prefer iv abx over the hibicleans vaginal flush for GBS after decideding to take the GBS test then I would have them get the rx for the iv abx for thier backup or pcp.

All midwives in MA have pit and meth.

Hope that helps!

if their backup wrote the rx, could you then administer the abx at home if she wanted?

How do mw's purchase the pitocin and meth? are they given a dea # so they could order through cascade or something? what about lidocaine? is it just available to cpm's or could dem's have access to it? thanks
