Any Harm in Stopping Rotavirus Vaccine (and others) Halfway Through?

My DS is due for his 12 month wbc (he's almost 13 m, now!) and my eyes have been opened to all of the unnecessary poisons I've allowed to be injected into him. (thanks all of you MDC mamas) I've pretty much decided to delay MMR and Chicken Pox, and do not want to give any more of the Rotavirus, Hib, or Prevnar, but will it cause harm for him to be "half-vaxed?"

The only thing that I've found is on the Rotavirus Fact Sheet and it says "The clinical studies were not designed to assess the level of protection provided by only one or two doses of Rototeq."

Could being "half-vaxed" somehow make him more susceptible to these diseases?

I guess in the back of my mind I'm sort of relating this to antibiotics. "They" say to always finish the entire prescription or else the bacteria, etc. will build up a tolerance and become much worse. This is probably not at all the same idea, but does it sort of help explain my concern?

Thanks so much!

No, it won't cause any harm.

Nope. You can just stop. Nothing weird happens from just stopping.

Stopping the vaccination series is different that stopping the antibiotics. The antibiotic is designed to attack bacteria that are already present in the body. The vaccine is to (supposedly) prevent a virus or bacteria from being able to attack the body.

Go ahead and skip them. I did the first rotavirus one for my son, but no more.

Jen, did your son have a reaction to shot?

Speaking from personal experience, I think the only harm would be in continuing.
