I'm trying to prove to my mohter that she should not get it and she is gongho about it. She works in a middle school and says she cant afford to get the flu and be out of work for a week.....sad sad excuse if you ask me. then my grandmother thinks that if it was bad for you then the docs would'nt tell you to get it...that's a lost cause all in it's self..i'm trying to prove this to my mother first then work on grandma second.

"Did you know no one is sure how the immune system really works?"

Really? No one? Wow. That's an incredible statement. Has anyone informed the immunologists?

In their own words, from a Report of the NIAID (National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases) Task Force on Immunology ...

Scroll down and read the first paragraph in the forward. Here's part:
Despite the considerable gaps in knowledge that still persist, an understanding of the complexities of immune activation and regulation within the physiological framework of the whole organism is now emerging.
Considerable gaps? NOW emerging? Yeah, it sounds like they don't have a complete handle on all of it yet, like I said.
