My bil is flying to come and help my dh replace our dining room ceiling in the first weekend of November. We need to figure out what kind of ceiling to put in and buy the materials. We currently have 16 by 16 ceiling tiles. We had planned to just pick a type of ceiling and do it. Now mil is telling dh that since we have those tile in the living room we should do the same again in the dining room. Only 12 by 12 tiles seem to be the norm and I have no idea how to find the exact same ones in two weeks time. Does it really matter if the ceilings are the same? There is an arched doorway between the roomsso the two ceiling don't run into each other at all. Actually any ceiling advice would be appreciated! We had been thinking of tongue and groove (painting it white). Not sure how that would look.
