i have been happy to find lots of M & D toys at the local Marshall's store; they are really cheap. I got dd some nice rattles for $3 and they have puzzles that are $3.99 and shape sorters for $4.99. I really thought i'd found a great place to get her toys now and in the future. I knew that M&D toys are made in China and I've heard mixed reviews about them. What do you all think? Some people say some of them test positive for lead, although we know that the home lead testers are not always accurate. So, any imput would be appreciated. Thanks!!!

I used to buy them too. In light of all the recalls due to the paint, I got rid of all the Melissa & Doug stuff. It just makes me nervous. I am only buying unfinished toys now, and none from China.
