I had success making some pantyliners for myself so thought I would give larger pads a try. I would like to use a hidden nylon layer in my overnight pads to avoid leaks. Yesterday at the fabric store, I saw some nylon but it wasn't what I was expecting. It was very thin, windbreaker type material, that seemed to fray horribly. I'm not even sure it's waterproof. It felt very different from ds's nylon diaper covers. And frankly, it seemed like it could be very hard to work with between the slipperyness and the fraying. Is this the nylon I want? Or is there another kind of nylon that is more waterproof? If I need to order it online, where do you suggest?
