Mildew stains in the grout.
After searching here, I tried hydrogen peroxide, seventh generation, vinegar, elbow grease, and elbow grease combined with HP. New mildew growth is easy to remove, but the stains won't budge. I don't want to break out the Zep, but in the past it is the only thing that has worked.
Also, DH uses a medicated shampoo that is orange. It has slowly built up in the marble stripe around the shower and appears to be soaked in. Any ideas on removing this?
Because of the two of these, it looks like we never clean our shower, even though we do, and it's driving me batty!
Once I finally do get it clean, is there a good enviro-friendly sealer I can use on it? Something that mildew can't get past?
I think that they put a wimpy sealer on it when it was installed and it just never stood much of a chance. (Same with my kitchen floor
.
Thanks all!
