....................................mixing massage oil -- anyone know how to do it?

I got some peppermint eo and want to mix some massage oil.

i could not find pm massage oil -- and i also thought that by buying the EO I would have it for later -- a drop or two in a bath and so on ...

what base should i use? does it matter? I do not want to "mess up" the lovey candy cane secent -- what oil base holds the smell?

I have a 4 oz bottle of Jajoba Oil that I have only operned and used once so it is 99.5% full ..... could i use that?

How -- I have never done this before ... do i jsut add the EO to the bottle of iol (and of course, correctly lable) ... or is 4 oz too much?

How much EO -- I want it to really smell nice and the smell to last while we use it ... but i do not want too much either....

TIA

Generally speaking (i.e. as long as you are an adult with no serious health problems) a massage oil should be around 2% EO in a carrier oil - sorry I don´t understand fluid ounces, but that amounts to 40 drops EO in 100ml carrier, 20 drops in 50ml etc.

However, peppermint oil should be used with greater caution, i reckon just 1% - so halve the drops above in the same quantity carrier.

Jojoba is quite a dry oil in itself, so not really preferred as 100% carrier oil - most aromatherapists use almond oil as a standard carrier as it gives good slippage and it not too greasy.

and finally, never ever use neat peppermint oil in a bath - if it comes into contact with sensitive bits you´ll regret it - ouch. Dilute those couple of drops in a little oil, vodka or full fat milk.
