No Legislation?

I live in ND. I have two kids and have never been big into NIP. This time I vow it will be different! No more hiding in dirty bathrooms, squatting with baby on my knees while someone takes a crap in the next stall!

Anyway, I went to LLL's site and it says there is no legislation for BF'ing in ND. What does that mean?? If someone told me to leave their, say, restaurant because of BF'ing would they be legally protected?

Thanks!

Yes. :

But, I have never heard of a public breastfeeding harassment incident in ND. I don't know what that means but as upsetting and infuriating as the lack of legal protection is, it is so important to remember that harassment everywhere is by far the exception and not the rule. Nursing in public is not illegal in ND or anywhere else. The worst thing that will happen is someone will tell you to stop - which is wrong and stinks but I think is far superior to nursing in a bathroom. I nursed in public in a state with no public breastfeeding law for eight and a half years and never ever had a problem. Nurse your children in the way with which you are most comfortable. Don't let the lack of legal protecton stand in your way.

And if someone messes with you, bring your story back here and we will do that "mama kick a**" thing we do.
