Those who are in the know - knitting soakers

I went to my first knitting class last night and I can't do it.

My hand is in a brace today because I have tendonitis in my left wrist - duh - why would I think I could KNIT???? :

Anyway - I have three skeins of fisherman's wool here.

Any chance I could pursuade someone to make me a couple covers in exchange for all the skeins? Particularly ones with the cute things on the bum (celtic knot, Mu, etc)

I'd love to take the yarn off your hands, but I couldnt' get to your soaker for a long time.

Y'know, I have an idea. You should come to the wool_soaker_group at yahoo groups and propose your ideas there. I bet you'd get a taker. Ok, I'll hop over there and post a link to this thread.

I can't help you, as I haven't learned to do soakers yet... but I hope your wrist is feelin' better!

You might be able to do it at some point.

I used to have both arms in splints and went through a month of intensive PT (two or three times a week plus excercises at home ten times a day with this bright green gak) together with ice and anti inflams plus ditching the splints (therapist said they made things worse overall).

I wouldn't say I'm totally pain free now, but it has made a big difference and most of the time I'm pain free these days. The days I'm not I start doing my funny excercises again -- which reminds me, i'd better do them tonight after all the gardening I did! I've had it now 7 years, the last three were a huge improvement over the previous four.
