I was cruising esty and came across a vendor who is making wood baby feeding spoons. (I think they are also planning on also selling cooking wood spoons) Handmade and so amazing. My DD is 2 and I'm ordering one for her. thought I would share.

So I'm a bit dense and had to look up what a luthier is I found wikipedia to be really helpful. Here is a link to what a luthier is:

So I'm betting these babies are really well made.

mmm I am thinking great X-mas gift for ds. He does not need anything else. Was going to get Nova's. Thank you!

Wow! Those are pricey spoons! Those would make good gifts, but I can't see buying them for personal use. (Not that I'm likely to have any more babies anyway...)

When my kids were babies, we mostly used the stainless steel teaspoons from our regular utensils.

I think from a price perspective that they really aren't expensive. Much smoother to use than a metal/stainless steal spoon and a heck of alot better then using a bunch of plastic or "rubber" coated baby spoons. Also some children have issues with metal.

And thanks for the definition - I didn't know what a luthier was either
