It makes it seem so much more real 
We were instructed to have them ready by 36 weeks.. which was yesterday so I bought them umm.. yesterday 
Probably would have put it off even longer if it wasn't for my 12 hours of contractions the day before (no worries.. they went away) I did decide to forgot the birth tub. I just don't want to mess w/ setting it up, etc... we have a huge garden tub I can labor in though But, today's goal is to get the house straightened up (we moved in 2 weeks ago) and then I'm more prepared for when the baby arrives!
also printed up a sign that says this... (my husband Jesse works out of the house and we have customers coming in and out all day long)
We are a bit busy at the moment having a baby…
Please do not ring the doorbell or come in unless you are the midwife, an assistant, or family.
If Jesse had an appt. with you he’s sorry to miss it but will have to reschedule after his newest baby has arrived.
