Still spotting?

After my Dr appt yesterday I had a little spotting, but assumed it was because she checked my cervix. I just went to the bathroom and am still spotting. Is that normal post cervix check (didn't do them with DD1) and when should it stop?

I would call and ask. I know that spotting is normal after a check, but it really depends on your situation. For me, since I have been contracting, even though I've had 2 checks, they wanted to know IMMEDIATELY if I spotted at all.

It's probably fine, but call to be on the safe side.

It could also be from DTD. Have you had sex recently?

What color is it? If it's brown, I would probably assume it's from the cervical check. If it's still spotting bright red or pink, I would probably call. I might call anyway, just to feel reassured.

Haven't had sex in 3 days, much to DH's dismay. It is more brown, but with twinges of bright pink? I have never in my life spotted after annual exams, sex during end of pregnancy, anything. So I am not super alarmed by any means, just is not normal for me. That and I had no indicators I was going into labor with DD1 except spotting the day before..lol.

I spotted after my exam with DD (doc did a membrane sweep, too) and had her the next day.

Hmmm...I'd probably call just to be sure. Sounds like it's probably from the exam. You're a little early to be having a baby yet, but who knows.

I left a message with the nurse just in case. I really need this one to cook until Thanksgiving or so. See, my brother's first was 7'11'', then mine came at 8'2'', then his next two were 8'8'' and 8'13'', so I feel obligated to have an 8'14'' or above.

Joanna. You won't be wanting that baby in there until Thanksgiving after a few more weeks. You'll be anxious for the baby to come on out already!

You are right. I seem to have hit some kind of pregnancy madness the last couple days...lol.
