Good Day Ladies, I hope this finds you all well...

I am brand new to this forum and need a little help. I purchased this halloween costume:

and tried it on last night to find out it needs a few alternations. I'm just not sure where to start. Does anyone have some suggestions for me. Any help you can give is def. appreciated. Oh the Halloween party I'm attending is this Saturday. :

Thank you for your help.... ~ Jenn

It's to big in the waist and to long, and I think I need to take it up a little bit in the shoulders. I know how to hem the dress, I'm just not positive about how to alter the costume it's self.

Is there anyone that could help you pin or tuck up the costume where it needs taken in? That's usually the easiest way to do alterations. Then you can sew a seam that is further in then the existing one. Fitting it how you need it to fit.

I started doing that last night. It's a very tedious process it seems but I should be able to get it done.... My boyfriend helped me, don't think he really wanted to but he did it anyway
