Well, they were late :

But anywhoo, babe's HB was 160s-170s again, so it still says a girl to my MW.

My urine was good for the second time in a row. Wahoo!

Baby is head down, though they both had a hard time locating parts. They both said they felt either double butts or double heads, but still only find one HB.

I am measuring 1-2 weeks ahead.

Gained 3 pounds in 2 weeks, but they're okay with all my weight gain so far (15 pounds) and even the small weight spike.

Blood pressure was good for me (130/80) and no swelling or anything else.

I was negative for GBS, yeast and other bacterias. Wahoo again!

House seems to be okay with them, though they want to be free of my animals during labor/delivery. Not sure how my dog will take that!

They're pushing to have me rent their tub for $200 so I need to either find one and order it or just deal with a $200 rental. she is delivering the tub in two weeks to my house.

I need to order my HB kit. Yikes!

Anywhoo, seemed to go well and my next appointment they let me put off for two weeks and it will be in the office (at 37 weeks).

Sounds good, Gina!!

Are you SURE there's not two in there (two butts, two heads?)

It sounds like it went well...sorry they were late though...that'd bother me too!

Did they tell you about the birth tub ahead of time?! I know in the homebirth forum they talk about places you can get them and some are a lot cheaper than $200 (but might not be as good...I have no idea).

Aimee, I am water birthing. Well I plan to. Unless I suddenly decide to go to the bed instead.

I was thinking about this kiddie pool and they're telling me I won't be able to stretch out and change positions yada yada. Well, of course it was the infamous MW-P who said that and MW-C just sort of agreed. I am a big girl, so I do worry that a kiddie pool won't do it for me.

But the Aqua Doula is big, and might be harder on the knees, and I might not like the plastic sheeting I have to cover it with.

Not sure what I want I guess. I hate to order the blow up fishy pool and hate it, you know?

OK, the "double butts or double heads" thing would be totally freaking me out right now, but I'm glad you seem calm about it!

It sounds like all is well--that's great!

I just don't know HOW there could be two in there. I am now measuring ahead, but only by a couple of weeks. They only find one heartbeat after all these months, so I should be pacified.

BUT the whole conjoined twin thing keeps popping into my head, freaking me out, because I didn't have the ultrasound. I can't imagine having a child with two heads when my two youngest talk so much with just one head each (*smile*).

I've had a sense of dread the whole pregnancy and early on a twin sense. But that's just me being silly. I am sure everything is fine.

After my last waterbirth, I think deep is more important than long. Yes, I could stretch out, but it was a built in two person soaker tub and wasn't really deep enough for me to get under the water with my whole belly. Then again, that might take a outdoor 4 ft pool for me. I didn't like the hard bottom either, so I'm hoping the mw's rental pool is better this time. Either way, it was a wonderful experience compared to DS's "dry" birth.

I am really happy it went so well for you.

I wonder though, do you rent the pool through you MWs?
