Yep, I'm here, though I could post on every single thread you've started Tracy (up until 6 months when we stopped vaxing.)

I could also post if there were a thread about reactions in utero to a flu shot I was given when 3 months pregnant.

Looking back, I'm certain dds problems began w/the flu shot. Of course, there is no way of proving that and then things really got bad with all the vaccines at birth.

My baby was born with clear skin and bright eyes. A few hours later she was taken for all the routine "stuff" and her eyes were somehow different - darker, hard to explain. Her skin was red and ruddy. She did not sleep and had trouble latching. Her GERD began almost immediately.

The major trouble was that she didn't sleep. I mean, she didn't even sleep in the hospital after birth like almost all babies do.

She didn't sleep more than 90 minutes at a stretch (and those times were few and far between) until she was almost 18 months old.

Okay, well, she did sleep 3 hours at a stretch a few times when she was *almost* 18 months old.

You can read our story in my siggy.

Great thread Tracy! Thanks for starting it. It's important.

So, annikate, do you think it was HepB that started this rolling?
I know that the flu shot during pregnancy was in the mix too... but do you feel it was the Hep B?

I'm losing my mind...didn't I read a mom with a child who had a reaction to Hep B?

hoping this will catch her eye.

DD got the hepB vax at arond 48 hours - the latest they would allow it done.

within 24 hours she began to have allergy issues to Oats - which I had eaten the previous 48 hours with no sign of problems. She is still allergic to oats {colitis}.

I'm told the hepB contains yeast from grains {but no idea which grains}

My ds had issues with the hepB vax. We delayed vaxing at birth- well all but vitK.
He unfortunately was given hepB at 6 weeks old and again at 12 weeks. He reacted both times by crying, then later that evening with fever, and he became very colicky after the 6 week vax which lasted until 5 months or so. This (colic) may or may not be related to the vax but I tend to think there is a link as none of my other three children were ever colicky or ever received this vax this early in life.
In the next day or so after the first hepB vax our ds started this very odd backward bend. I have never seen anything like it ever before. He would never look anyone in the eyes and would begin to arch into this position where he seemed to be looking at something way over his head or behind him. It's hard to describe but if he were laying on my bed facing me, he would totally arch away from me his head was in a very odd position pulling towards his back, while his legs were pulling in the same direction. (Anyone who has ever had a fish tank... it reminded me of an illness I've seen where the fish folds itself in half before dying! scary thought for a new mom suffering from ppd).
We took ds back to the ped... who totally laughed off our concerns saying our 6 week old was trying to roll over!! It wasn't the VAX!! Couldn't be...
Funny or son never rolled over until he turned 6 months!
I don't care who may think it wasn't a vax reaction I KNOW differently! We never allowed another Vax and over time the backward bending gradually ceased. I don't know and will most likely never know what type of damage was done to our son but I 100% believe it was the HepB vax that caused our sons issues.

Edited: I tore our home apart looking for ds's vax record/baby book (we moved recently)-- He only received one HepB at six weeks no more. He received two DPT and two IPV for a total of 5 vax's and we then stopped vaxing... the second HepB was due but he never received it... It's been 2 1/2 years is a total non-issue in our home--
