- I'd get a white (or whatever color she wants to be) hoody sweatshirt and sweatpants. The hood of the sweatshirt needs to be tight or the horn won't stand up.
- Get 1/4 yard gold lame, a 12 inch dowel and stuffing for the horn.
- A white (or whatever color to match sweatsuit) felt square and a pink felt square for the ears.
- 4 black felt squares (of 1/4 yard black felt) for the hooves, this is optional.
- A ball of white yarn ( or whatever color) for the mane and tail.
- Threads to match and a pretty embriodery floss to spiral down the horn.
for the horn: Wrap the dowel tightly with the stuffing. wrap it more thickly at the base. Roll the lame around the horn. tack it in place with matching thread. Tack down the embroidery floss athe the top of the horn and spiral it down. Sew the horn to the center front of the hood of the hoody sweatshirt. It will need to be stuffed firmly and sewn tightly to stand up.
For the ears: Cut out two ear shapes in white and two smaller ears in pink. Sew the pink ear inside of the white ear. Fold the base of the ear with the pink towards the inside tack the fold just a little up from the base so thatt the ear stands up. sem the ears pointing up to the top of the hood a few inches behind and to either side of the horn.
for the mane: Wrap the yarn around your hand several times sew this looped yarn to the top of the hood just behind the horn. Make another looped yarn tuft and sew it directly behind first one. Repeat with more yarn till you get to a few inches below the neck of the hoody. Cut the loops and fluff up the mane. If the stitching at the base of the horn looks messy place another tuft infront of horn to hide it.
for the tail: Wrap the yarn several times around some thing about a foot wide, like the back of a dining room chair. Take about two feet of yarn and tie the loop very firmly with it. Cut the loop exactly opposite from where you tied it. Sew the tied end to the bottom center of the hoody sweatshirt.
For hooves (optional): Cut out "U" shaped pieces from the black felt two slightly smaller than her hands and two slightly smaller than her feet. Sew the hand sized one to the ends of the sleave and the foot sized ones to the bottom fronts of her pants. They should form flaps that conceal her hands ans shoes but don't interfere with her using them.
