Not Ready!

So I have the flu and the midwife called me back today after waiting for two days to see how I was and get me an appointment for next week.
I am 36 weeks now and she said a homebirth is now a go. Wow, I did not think 36 weeks was safe. She was worried about contractions as she said throwing up and cause labor. I was ok then but now a few hours after I am getting BX a lot. Grrrrrr.

I am not ready! My birthing pool is not here yet even. Maybe it will come today I keep thinking. I do have the birthing kit at least.

Wow... and here I have no energy to get things done and I have a long list still. Heck, I still need to write the list out!

I'm so sorry you're sick! I will tell you from my own experience that it's truly amazing the things you'll be able to get done in the next week or two. In the course of 2 days my birthing supplies arrived, I got all the cloth diapers prepped and ready, and we got the birth pool up. I also did some good cleaning and organizing in that time. You can do it, but give yourself a couple days to rest and get better, Mama!
